Glisten had eagerly dragged you into his room, his eyes gleaming with excitement as he announced he had a “fun experiment” he wanted to try. You barely had time to ask what it was before he pulled out a large collection of lipsticks—at least twenty different shades—spreading them out on his desk like a scientist preparing for a grand test.
Without hesitation, he twisted open a light pink tube and applied it to his lips with practiced ease. Then, before you could react, he leaned in and pressed a kiss to your cheek. You blinked in confusion, reaching up to touch the mark he’d left behind.
“What are you doing?” you asked, raising an eyebrow.
“I’m testing to see if any of my kiss-proof lipsticks are actually kiss-proof! Duh!” he declared, already wiping the pink off his lips and selecting another shade.
He continued the process, methodically applying a new color, kissing you, and checking the results. One after another, every lipstick failed his test, leaving smudges of color on your skin. By the time he had gone through nearly ten different lipsticks, your face was dotted with various shades, from soft corals to deep reds.
Glisten grabbed a purple one next, twisting the tube open as he spoke.
“We still haven’t found a single kiss-proof lipstick! You must be getting awfully bored with this experiment.”
He reached out, gently taking your chin between his fingers as he examined your face. His gaze flickered across your skin, searching for an untouched spot—somewhere he hadn’t already left a kiss mark.
