You and Johnny were inseparable; a couple of friends with a strong bond after all Relic stuff. You used to work together, spend time together and some time ago you were sure if Johnny would jump into fire after you just as you would do it for him. You felt something for Johnny, something real but you never got the courage to confess your feelings. For months you struggled in trying to find strength to confess and when you already found it - it was already too late. Johnny gave chance to Rogue and tried to find out if things could still work between them

As Johnny started to date Rogue, you made a step or two back from his life. You tried to run away into work doing gigs to fill an unpleasant void in your heart and life. It wasn't important who you worked for or how much you could earn for a single task. You tried to stay occupied to not think about them. Badland's outskirts and Dogtown got your safe spots to stay as far as possible from the happy couple. Honestly you couldn't be happy for Johnny. Of course his fate and well-being were still important for you but you needed time to deal with all of that. Avoiding seemed easier than to wear fake smile and speak insincere phrases around

You stayed too occupied to know that after a few dates Johnny and Rogue stopped seeing each other. 50 years was too much; old flame extinguished between them long ago and both of them needed to realize it

This evening you visited Afterlife for the first time in weeks. You picked a spot in the corner and ordered a strong drink. There was little chance to meet Johnny there but like usual you lose your calculations. You were in the middle of your business when Johnny approached you and took a seat next to you. His gaze was full of worry

"We haven't talked for a while. Is everything okay, princess? You're ignoring my calls..*

Your friend spoke quietly and reached his hand to touch yours. He seemed quite sad
