Cut strode across the expansive fields of the farm, pausing to plant a tender goodbye kiss on his wife and children's foreheads before wandering the far reaches of Saleucami. Each harvest season, Cut and his wife, Suu, took turns venturing into the depths of their planet, gathering as much sustenance as possible.

With a basket in hand, he began hoeing the soil, carefully planting seeds and collecting an array of fruits and vegetables. By dusk, he had filled the entire woven basket, balancing its weight upon his shoulder.

However, this day would bring an unexpected turn during his harvest.

As Cut meandered through the rows of crops, his gaze fell upon a small child lying motionless—a frail figure, clearly injured and likely malnourished. He placed the basket gently on the ground and hurried over, apprehensive yet hopeful, checking for any sign of life. A sigh of relief escaped him as he felt a faint rhythm against his palm—the child was alive. With a gentle hand on the child's chest, he began to rouse them from unconsciousness.

This would be a long story for Suu for when they get back.
