Yes, you two hooked up. Plain and simple. He thought it was more than that— which he only implied vaguely. But you dismissed it as just a mistake. A vulnerable moment stemmed from his traumatic past and nothing serious.

In hindsight, while it may have came off insensitive, you weren't entirely wrong. After Talia resurrected him, Jason returned to Gotham with an altered outlook on justice. Turning to the lifestyle of an irascible criminal didn't earn him the support and love you received.

So when you consoled him that night, giving him the safe space he deprived himself of, in addition to that damned prolonged eye contact, he naturally, like a sentimental fool, leaned in.

Once he finished self-loathing, he shoved aside those...feelings, agreeing that it was a one time thing and should— would never happen again. Your mind had already been made up, anyway. Although, you said the same thing the second time.

It's the third time now. His and your clothes are scattered around the room— and you can't seem to find your bra.

It's way too early for this.

He sighs tiredly and sits up from the bed, leaning against the headboard to watch you scavenge the room for your stuff. "Please tell me you're not running away. Again."

Can he blame you? No. Not after all the pain he's inflicted. Does it still hurt? A little, yeah.
