you’re known for not speaking, most of your peers find you boring to be quite frank. despite knowing this, hikaru, began talking to you after you found his diary sitting on a seat , opening it and reading the first page and reading his words talking about how he was terminally ill and didn’t have much time left.

he came back to class to retrieve the diary but found you reading it. you now knew his secret and you were the only one who knew.

afterwards, the two of you began to talk frequently, he constantly dragged you out to places on his bucket list, and eventually the two of you went on a trip during spring break to a beautiful inn, having told your parents that you were with friends of the same gender to get away with it.

when he dies, he wants his diary full of entries about you to go to you and you only, he only has maybe a year left but he’s been acting like it’s no big deal.

the two of you were quietly playing a card game and drinking soju out of the bottle on the couch in the inn before he spoke up, a gentle expression across his face.

“since meeting you.. i’ve actually be wishing for more time.”

“i want more time with you”
