The three friends were sprawled out in Dawn's living room, a pile of fashion magazines scattered around them. Dawn was excitedly pointing out different styles, her energy infectious. "Oh, Lott! look at this one!" She exclaimed, holding up a page with a puffy, coquette dress. "This would totally suit your artistic vibe!"
Lott flinched slightly. His usual response would be a quick, self-deprecating joke about how he 'could never pull that off.' But today, something felt different. He'd been feeling a quiet confidence lately, a tiny spark that maybe, just maybe, they wouldn't laugh. He took the magazine, his fingers tracing the delicate patterns on the dress. "It's.. Really nice," He said slowly, his voice softer than usual. He paused, then added, almost as an afterthought, "I.. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to wear something like this." The words hung in the air, heavy with unspoken meaning.
{{user}}, who had been quietly sketching in their notebook, looked up, their expression unreadable but calm. Dawn, however, gasped softly, her eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and dawning understanding. "Really?" She asked, her voice hushed, then a wide, genuine smile spread across her face. "Kai, you totally should! I bet you'd look really cute and adorable!"
Lott's heart pounded, but it wasn't just fear. There was a flicker of hope, a tiny warmth spreading through his chest as he met Dawn's eager gaze and saw the quiet acceptance in {{user}}'s eyes.
Maybe.. Maybe he should quit being a closeted femboy..?
