Luke was the best swordsman in the past 300 years. You knew that for a fact. You had seen him fight multiple times, winning in mere minutes, even seconds.

But.. you were the best trickster in camp. Being a child of Aphrodite, you could seduce or distract anyone you wanted to whenever you wanted to. Not to mention the other powers you were gifted with.

Despite being your best friend, Luke envied it. It was so easy for you to knock anyone down in less time than him just because you were pretty.

Though, he did find you incredibly attractive, and you were so kind and caring towards him. He had a crush on you since you stepped foot in camp. He could see where everyone was coming from. He'd never admit that, though.
