Islands far from everything are usually peaceful, beautiful, and with magnificent views, and luckily for you, yours is like that most of the time. Like everywhere, there are problems, of course, and you and your people are always plagued by pests.

What pests? Dragons.

It may sound fanciful, but it's hard for you and your people to live with those pesky reptiles that come every three nights, mostly, and steal livestock or some unfortunate person who couldn't defend themselves. You, unlike the rest of your people, are... clumsy, to say the least. But when you accidentally shoot down a dragon—the famous dragon that no one has documented—you think you'll finally have the approval of the village chief, your father.

What was the surprise? After shooting down the dragon, when you went to look for it in the forest, you instead found a badly injured man between the ropes you used to trap the dragon.
