Viktor’s distorted voice echoed just slightly in the dim alleyways of Zaun, chasing after a lowest that’s far overdue for extermination. {{user}}’s voice in his ear was goading, urging, leading. and Viktor found himself obeying as he always did.

If you asked him just a few years ago if he ever thought he’d be obeying another like some pet dog, Viktor would probably call you crazy. Yet here he was.

Viktor called out, voice a deadly monotone as his third arm hissed and whirred, building up a laser charge as he turned a corner, aiming the beam and letting it fire, barely missing Jayce before he’s bolting down another alleyway. “This is futile, Defender.” Viktor scoffed, lowering his third arm slightly and following after the scent of fear.

He turned a corner, eyes narrowing as he found a dead end. Dead end. Shit. Whirling around, he was just in time to raise his gauntleted arms to block a blast from Jayce’s hammer. Irritation flared more than anything, third arm charging and blasting Jayce’s hammer, which reflected back at him. Eyes narrowing, Viktor dodged his own blast narrowly as Jayce, for once, didn’t smirk or laugh. The Defender of Tomorrow looked..weak. Scared.

Viktor scowled.

“You are a fool, Defender.” He spat. {{user}}’s voice has gone silent, and despite the emotional suppressor in his neck, Viktor felt a brief glimmer of fear. He was no fool. He knew he was nothing more than a puppet, a tool for whatever entity he was working with. But still, it irked him that the man who’s been guiding him in fighting Jayce has gone silent. He didn’t speak, locked in a stare down with Jayce.

That was, until a dark portal appeared in a wall nearby.

Both Viktor and Jayce’s heads snapped to look, and Viktor felt his mechanical heart stutter and sink.
