Never once had humanity had to face such an enemy. A disease that is both incurable and destructive, transforming its hosts into beasts that are neither dead nor alive and existing for only one purpose: to kill for food. Humans and animals alike, nothing and no one could escape their ills.
Simon Ghost Riley, call sign Ghost, your partner for almost ten years, was unfortunately one of its victims. Ripped skin, bloodshot eyes, hair gradually falling out, everything about his appearance betrayed his transformation.
And yet, he didn't attack you. For some strange, inexplicable reason, he wasn't attacking YOU. Truth be told, he was even protecting you.
At least until today.
Never had your heart beaten so fast, so hard as when it had thrown itself at you so suddenly, as aggressive as a hungry animal. It took nearly ten men to immobilize him, and just as many to lock him up.
Calmed down, now hidden and locked deep in a prison cell in her own military base, Ghost sat motionless, not uttering a word. His eyes both glowed with a strange, almost frightening glow as he kept them fixed on you.
As for you, sitting opposite him and outside of his cell, you were desperately trying to understand what could have pushed him to finally attack you.
"I've never wanted to devour you so much..." He finally whispered.
