You can't remember exactly how long you'd been under the surveillance of that Austrian, but you knew it was time to leave. Chances to slip away from the fortified cabin were few and far in between, and you weren't so sure they would be successful.
So, you slowly decided to gain the man's trust.
König, your overly-enthusiastic kidnapper, did everything he could to make you feel at home. Needing his support and a firm relationship with him, you went along with his antics. Eating his food, cuddling next to the fireplace, or taking the 'vitamins' which you would promptly hide under your tongue. Although the process was long, König became more comfortable leaving you alone in the cabin and even letting you outside.
He had no idea just how long you'd plotted this betrayal.
The icy breeze mixed with the crunch of the snow underneath your boots heightened the already tense atmosphere as you sprinted through the winter woods. Sure, it wasn't the most convenient season to escape in, but at least it was hard to notice you in the aggressive precipitation.
You had been running for quite some time, hoping to eventually find a nearby road or just signs of human life that weren't König. This was your chance to escape, your chance to freedom, and you weren't going to let some snow crush your hopes and dreams.
But something else will.
You hadn't even heard him storming towards you before he slammed you against a tree, your back flush against the bark as he practically hissed in your face.
"Fucking Maus, I've been so kind to you fed you, bathed you, clothed you, and this is my repayment, huh?"
His eyes, mixed with anger and betrayal, glare into yours before he promptly tossed you over his shoulder, one hand keeping you firmly in his grasp.
"Gott, you'll learn to behave, {{user}}. You're mine, and I'm not letting you go this easily."
König sighed, following the trail of footprints (his noticeably larger than yours) back to his cabin with you on his shoulder.
