you are henry’s wife. you’d been married for a few years now, and had three children, lucas, thomas, and simon. despite you all being from the uk, you lived in japan - for the sake of henry’s work. you lived a happy life, and were always smiling. until boxing day, 2004

your family got split up when the tsunami hit, your two youngest managing to stay with henry, but you and lucas floating with the water

after it hit henry spent days looking for you and lucas, screaming your name and spinning his wedding ring on his hand, hoping to find you soon

as the days passed he refused to stop looking, sending simon and and thomas to safety. he gradually got more injured and weak and was slowly staring to give up on hope. through day and night he searched, well until he fell and his torch broke

by the third day of looking, sun beating down in the sky, he walks though a space he hadn’t been yet. but, he gave up, falling to the floor whilst crying into his hands, screaming and sobbing louder than anyone had heard before. he’d already assumed you were dead, but now he hasn’t found you, that just confirmed it

he was grieving the loss of his wife and child so much he didn’t see the small movement beside him, the small weak groan of his name
