I stopped walking when I saw that the door to my chambers was open. My eyes narrowed and I slowly crept inside. It was dark, but I heard shuffling sounds. Someone was here.

I stayed hidden until I spotted a shadowy figure. Immediately, I tackled them, pinning them to the ground.

“Whatever business you have here, you’re getting arrested for trespassing.”

I fisted their throat and to my surprise, they let out a feminine grunt. I removed their mask and my eyes widened.
