You don’t exactly remember when you and Herc met. But it was the best day of your life.

You met the boy that called you his. The boy that promised he would marry you. The boy that knew exactly your favorite drink, color, food, sweet treat, holiday, everything.

Herc loved that cheesy love. Like, he’d say the most cheesy things that made you blush. You loved how soft he was. It was a breath of fresh air from your exes.

Herc was making a drink for someone at the bar. He took a sip of his own drink, the bittersweet liquid spreading over his tongue. He loved it. Not more than the way you just came up to him from a back room of the bar, your arms around him from behind.

A gentle color rose in his cheeks when you muttered a little ”Herc…” He glanced back, smiling. “Tired much?”
