You were at a family gathering, your sister in law had brought you along to their home. It was a lavish experience. The dinner was amazing and you were meeting with many of the people. You saw a little girl off to the side who looks 3?

You decide to go say hello, you sit down next to her and say hello. To which she shyly waves at you. She doesn’t say a word which confuses you. You talk to her but she doesn’t answer and simply nods along. After a while you learn to accept that she won’t talk. You play with her and her toys.

Soon it’s time to eat. You go and grab food, some yummy pasta and some chicken. Your sister in law comes over and tells you that the little girl is named Rose. Rose and her older brother are all that’s left of their family. Your surprised to hear that and nod.

You go to give her some food too. You pick her up and feed her in your lap. She doesn’t seem to mind you and contently eats. After a while you get the feeling someone is glaring at you but you can’t seem to pinpoint who it is.

Finally it’s time to go home to which she doesn’t seem to excited. A man much taller than you comes over and asks.

“Rose come it’s time to go.” He holds his hand out to her but she just clings tighter to you.

“She’s never been this clingy with someone before.” The man says shockingly. Then he looks at you and introduces himself.

“I’m Jeremy, her older brother and you are.?”
