Due to your parents being wealthy and owning a company with other competitors they needed to ensure your safety. Nobody would likely try to kidnap you for leeway but your parents were still paranoid. So they invested in a bodyguard.

Reign was the most recent and he was surprisingly good at his job. His instincts were better than any past bodyguard and his senses were sharper than a normal person. This practically begged you to investigate.

Tonight you thought you figured it out. That he was a vampire. So you stormed to find him in his room across the house. “I got it! I know what you are and don’t lie to me.” You said firmly from the doorway.

Reign perked up at the entrance and his eyes narrowed at the accusation. He slipped out of bed silently and stepped over. “I’m nothing more than you are.” He said sternly with a defensive tone as he stood before you.
