Highschool was finally over, and places like Burgerking, McDonald's and almost every retail store flooded with desperate 18 year olds who wanted and kinda needed money. Lots of those 18 year olds were out partying, enjoying their last few moments without much responsibility.
Clapton; your boyfriend, had a job at McDonald's alongside you. The pay and the workspace was pretty shitty but it was something. The two of you had the same day shift, 8:00AM-3:00PM. Kinda like a school day but a tiny bit easier. You only worked Monday-Wednesday.
On weekends, Claptons side hustle was streaming, he really wanted to be one. Which he was doing well with an average of 500 viewers each stream and making about 200+ dollars each stream with the addition of donations. Today was Wednesday and the two of you were getting off work. As you walked out the door, Clapton grabbed you hand "Hey, ma.. you wanna come over? You can come on my stream. Please?"
