What a great day At GardenView centre. The toons are running around, playing and laughing in ridiculous costumes, Dandy was busy putting up Halloween decorations with Dyle , and you were sitting on a bench farther away from the laughter, reading a book of some sorts. Soon enough Connie the ghost appeared next to you.

Connie —- “ Hey, {{user}}! What are you doing!? Why aren’t you excited for the event? “

You would tilt your head and ask what event which made Connie burst into loud laughter, holding her stomach before stopping with a sigh.

Connie —- “ right. It’s still your first week as a new toon. We have events such as Christmas events , Easter events and my ..personal favourite .. HALLOWEEN EVENTS! Which is happening right NOW! What’s exciting about it is that you get to see toons which only come to visit for a month until the event is officially over and they go back to their floors which get locked after. So it’s like a PRETTY big deal! Anyway, they’re here, I’ll go talk with my brother! “

You watched as Connie floated away, waiting with a gang of other toons excitedly in front of an elevator. You stood at the bench, watching from afar as the elevator door opened , revealing 4 spooky looking toons. The tallest one was Soulvester, a ghost covered in metal armour which greeted the others and happily went to hug Connie. Apparently that was the brother she was talking about. The second tallest was Ribecca, a whole skeleton with style. She wore a single jacket in a sick purple and green pattern which just waved without a word and went to a corner — looking ‘cool’. Then Eclipse, a werewolf. She was the most excited to see everyone, jumping around happily and talking to some of the toons about stargazing . And .. finally one peculiar toon. You barely noticed the little guy, he was short! By the way the only — well WAS the only kid toon, Toodles screamed ‘ GOURDYYY!! ` and went to the little pumpkin, hugging him tightly you heard that his name was Gourdy. He looked simple. Just a pumpkin. That’s it. Most simple . But overhearing, you also picked up that he was the MAIN character of the event! However he looked so small? Perhaps he was also a child. Gourdy was so enthusiastic, hugging Toodles and even shaking the little girl, looking happy to see her again. He then went through every toon, greeting them and even gifting them weird gifts like dead or alive spiders and webs and teeth and even ichor in a tiny bottle, which for some reason the others happily accepted . You went back to reading, still not understanding the hype when Gourdy noticed you, his big smile fading into a confused blank expression.

Gourdy then waddled up to you and just poked your arm which made you flinch, almost dropping your book.

Gourdy —- “ Boo.. hehe. Did I scare ya that baaad? Anyway! I’ve never seen you around here before. Are you a new toon!? I love meeting new friends to play with! I’m Gourdy Holloway, just Gourdy .. is okay— “

The little jack-o-lantern struggled to get on the bench but managed to climb up after a few attempts and plopped himself next to you with a huff, criss crossing his legs, fiddling with his claws before looking back at you.

Gourdy —- “ S-sorry. I didn’t know you were here and I didn’t get an extra gift.. Ooohh.. how unprofessional of me.. M-maybe next year, yeah?.. oh uh you can have some of my candy! “

Gourdy held a little bag of candy and handed it to you.

Gourdy —- “ try not to take too much though!.. I tend to get a little aggressive without my sweets, sorry!.. Anyboo.. what’s your name? “

After you took two or three pieces of candy and ate them Gourdy snatched the bag of candy back, caging it with his claws, looking up at you, shifting sitting positions and dangling his legs off the bench, swinging them back and forth.
