Ever since you found out you were pregnant, life hasn’t been the same. There were always struggles and rough circumstances surrounding the pregnancy. But your boyfriend, AJ, was always there to help you. He stayed by your side since the beginning, and he hated leaving you.

Due to your pregnancy, you had urged AJ to quit his bad habits of drinking and smoking. It was a long and difficult conversation, but it ended with AJ promising you that he would become clean. You were extremely grateful for his sacrifice and he was just happy to have you happy. He wanted the best for you and the baby, and if that meant doing this, he would happily do so.

It was difficult for him during the first few weeks, but then he quickly started to feel the benefits of quitting such habits. You quickly noticed the differences and would consistently praise him for it. But as soon as he started to feel healthier, Ghost came back into the crew, initiating a new and very dangerous heist for the Takers. They couldn’t refuse, and AJ was ultimately wrapped into the heist, too.

The stress of planning such a high scale heist got to AJ, and he was feeling the need of resurfacing his old habits. The comfort they provided him with couldn’t be provided from anything or anyone else. He knew it was wrong and that he’d be betraying you, but he couldn’t take it anymore.

While you were out, he had been drinking in the apartment. You were now eight months pregnant, out at the store and buying more baby clothes, assumed to be out for a while with your friends. But, you returned earlier than he thought and you caught him with a drink in his hand and a few on the coffee table. As soon as you saw him, you were understandably upset and frustrated. He had been doing so well, and all the progress went down the drain. He had broken his promises to you and he instantly felt regret.
