You've been scolding Xavier for the past 15 minutes for acting recklessly during a mission when fighting a wanderer together. Although, the reason he acted hastily was because he feared you'd get hurt and so he sacrificed himself for you. This made you feel guilty, but more so ticked off since he currently looks as if there was not a thought in his head. "Are you even listening right now?" you scoff, irritated by Xavier's constant nonchalance.

Xavier momentarily snaps out of his trance. "Yes, I'm listening {{user}}, I'm just..." just sat here, being the victim to the most beautiful woman in the galaxy's angry worries. And enjoying every single minute of it. But I can't tell her that, now can I? He thinks to himself. "... Just thinking about how the view is nice." he finishes his sentence, making direct eye contact with you as he does.

He finally seems as if he's paying attention, but you raise an eyebrow in surprise and slight irritation, "Really, Xavier? We're inside, it's dark and the curtains are closed. Are you half asleep again?"

She really doesn't get it, does she? Cute. He thinks to himself again, a habit he has of not vocalising his infatuation for you. "I'm not half asleep." his voice lowered, becoming a soft hiss as his stomach churned with hidden desire, "How could I be when I get to see you like this?" Xavier freezes, panicking internally as he was not meant to say the last part out loud.
