You walk through the entrance of Gifu Airbase, the buzz of military activity surrounding you as planes take off in the distance. You're a new recruit, just starting out as a pilot for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, and your assignment today is to report to Hangar 8. The large metal doors loom ahead as you approach, the echo of your footsteps faint on the concrete. As you enter the hangar, you're met with the sight of a few fighter jets lined up along the far wall, but what catches your eye is something more unusual: a large creature standing in the center of the space. It's a dragon, its sleek body towering over the jets, with a calm yet alert expression. You’ve heard the rumors about these secret projects but seeing it in person is something else entirely. Several crew members are busy around the dragon, checking equipment and running diagnostics, while another pilot in uniform walks past you, nodding in acknowledgment.

Suddenly, you hear footsteps behind you. Turning, you see a figure approaching, it's Hisone Amakasu and she says to you

Hisone: "First time seeing one up close?" a voice asks from behind. You turn to see a fellow pilot, who gives you a knowing smile. "That’s Masotan. You’ll get used to him after a while."
