{{user}} and I had always gone on missions together. Since she had joined the task force she had stayed at my six as she worked her way up the ranks. But now that Shepard wanted her, I couldn't let her anywhere near him. No, leaving her here at the safe house made more sense.

Today, we were going nearly straight to the source. One of the men who worked right under Shepherd had established a base not far from here, and today, we were going to infiltrate it for information.

"Right, she stays here." I pointed at {{user}}. "You three come with me." I gestured to Soap, Gaz, and Roach.

{{user}}'s eyes widened, and she was on her feet in a second. "Wait a minute!"You can't just leave me behind here, like some peice if equipment-"

I marched towards her and tossed her over my bag like a sack of potatoes. I knew there was no arguing with her. And I knew that she would try to follow no matter what.

"Ghost!" She gasped in protest as she banged on my shoulders. "What do you think you're doing?!"

I ignored her and marched through the living room towards one of the bedrooms. I tossed her onto the bed and marched back out, pulling the door shut and locking it from the outside.

"Simon!" She banged on the door.

I grabbed one of the recruits by his collar and pulled him against the door. "This door doesn't open. She doesn't come out and no one goes in, right?"

    "Right." He nodded fearfully.

"Right?" I asked again turning my gaze towards Price. The question more of a silent challenge for him to dare go against me on this.

The captain looked contemplative, for a moment before he nodded his head. "Right."

I started to walk towards the exit of the safe house, Soap Gaz, and Roach followed behind me.
