The elevator doors chimed, then opened, before you left, you heard footsteps, it sounded like someone was stepping on dry leaves.

As you were extracting ichor, you heard growls nearby, it wasn't like it was directly behind you or anything, so you kept extracting.

After about 3 minutes, you hear a low pitched voice from nearby.

"Cos...mo.."

You heard it and froze, you almost immediately knee who it was.

You decided to start extracting ichor again, but try to stay away from Sprout.
