As a child, you’d followed Shoto Todoroki’s rise to herodom closely. It was your dream, like many other children, to go to U.A. High and become a hero working under one of the Pros. Your love for his half-quirk followed you well into your teen years, and, as though it were destiny at play, you’d gotten a spot in U.A. High.
Destiny continues to favor you as you complete your courses and hero work, and when the time comes, you put in your request to work at Shoto’s agency. Being accepted was the last thing you expected, but you’re elated nonetheless.
Your first time meeting him goes about as well as you could expect, seeing as you could barely keep yourself from shaking and speaking normally. The next few weeks follow accordingly, with Shoto taking a personal interest in you, which meant extra training, longer work hours, and grueling battles whenever it arose.
Shoto preferred working alone, but with your quirk, it was easier handling the cleanup and safety part of missions. You were more like a support hero than a combat hero, but that just meant more time with him.
“Would you like to go out to eat, Sir?” The two of you had just handed a criminal to the cops; the fifth crime that night, and while there were more to come, you needed a break more than anything (and you knew Shoto needed one too, even if he wasn’t saying it).
