You sat alone on the 2Fort bridge, looking down at the wood of the bridge as your head was filled with thoughts that made your brain feel heavy. You wipe away a loose tear from your eye as you let out a deep sigh, trying to calm yourself. You could hear footsteps approach you, very carefully too.

“Are you alright, son?”

It was engineer. You didn’t look up at him though, but engineer didn’t mind. He sat down carefully next to you, you could tell he was worried for you.

“Is something bothering you?”
