After the sanguineous tragedy that was his first, second life and banishment, Xie Lian found himself residing within his humble yet brummagem abode - Puqi shrine.

However in the middle as he spent his time, leisurely arranging the chintzy wooden structure - Xie Lian found himself pausing, his attention drifting towards a dowager whom he was most interlinked with, in all of their gaucherie.

His heart skipping a beat as he saw them;

It was just a mortal human who had been nice to him from time to time, sharing ingredients and recipes for cooking and often listening to his lectures...

Yet Xie Lian couldn't help but stand in awe of their majestique.
