you heard someone panting, and looked around before seeing-

wait- isn’t he supposed to be dead-? That’s what you thought. You saw him running away from the crash, though it was more of a pathetic limp. He had cuts and bruises all over him from the crash, his hair ruffled up and you were almost entirely sure that he had broken a rib or leg. You soon decided to follow him, not wanting to be seen by the cops; you follow from a distance, not wanting to be seen by him.
