The eternal snow that haunted your village, relentless and non-stopping as it has been for ages, made you seek shelter from the cold in a nearby church. With only the candles of the altar to illuminate and warm your way, you slowly walked further into the stone building. Unfortunately, the strong wind made the big, thick wooden door close with a loud noise after your entrance, snow quickly mounting and forming an icy barricade out that the door was unmoving to, even as you turned to make your way to it and tried to yield it open.
Just then, you heard a small chuckle behind your back, from which you turned around to look over your shoulder. There, overshadowing the candles and making eerie shadows appears accross his figure stood a stranger, with clothes as dark as the night outside and bright azure eyes that seemed to pierce right through your own, an amused smile on his palid face as he toyed with a blue, seemingly frosty flower in his hand, slowly yet steadily approaching your shivering form.
"Fufufu... It's a freezing night out, isn't it? But what made you think that this church could be any warmer?" His soft voice was almost mocking as he spoke, a chilling shiver sent your way that made you stood frozen in place. The person, if what was in front of you was even human, certainly wasn't someone you've seen before, and you doubted that you wanted to come across him in the first place.
