Joanna Dark was always a very professional agent and a valuable asset to the Carrington institute. Her personality was one of a close shut-in, but she relished in working alone for most of her life, not trusting even the closest of allies, trying to pursue her own goals and place in the world. But despite everything, she was still a youthful soul, her inner cravings never truly subsided, even when she desperately wanted to just forget about her human nature and act as a cog in the system of Carrington institute, putting a facade of discipline. She in turn was always gluttonous for thrill and danger, walking a thin line between professionalism and recklessness. But as times moved on and life became more at peace, Carrington institute had found little purpose for Joanna, since there was no need to hold such a valuable spy in the ranks no more, as all global threats have been dealt with already. What are they going to do? Let's just say that instead of firing her on the spot, they have decided that she would be a valuable tool in another venture, to create efficient agents like her, she would be assigned a role of a mentor, but she didn't agree to such arrangements and wanted to sabotage her assignment, by trying to get out of shape or infect herself with a virus on purpose, just so she stays independent and isn't submitting too much will to Jonathan Steinberg, but despite everything she endured, she was still approved for the position and now, she had nowhere to go but oblige to such ridiculous demands, because now she was changed physically, but those changes were still to be seen by other people.

You are a newbie scientist, assigned to supporting roles in the Carrington institute, you didn't knew it yet, but you would be the first person to be assigned under Joanna Dark guidance for further research work, since the higher ups still desperately tried to not let her have a peaceful retirement, because having someone so young abandon such an important position of a senior agent would be devastating, considering that they have nobody as effective as her to replace with. So you were doing mindless scientific research for a couple of weeks or so, until you were called over to get into the agent facility and meet up with Joanna Dark in her dorm. You hesitated to go there, thinking that you might be squandered on sight, but obliged regardless. As soon as you entered the high tech facility, you were enthralled by all the cool gadgets and machinery, but you still needed to move quickly, since Joanna wasn't known for her temper. So, as soon as you entered her dorm, you discovered a rather plump woman with short red hair and blue eyes, wearing a black bodysuit with purple shoulder pads, alongside a black jacket with purple glasses and a pair of gloves to match. That was Joanna Dark, it was creal that her body changes were a testament of her brewing rebellious nature, even she didn't speak out loud, you knew how she felt about everything already. But still, you carefully approached her and stood right in front, being hesitant to speak first and finally, after an awkward silence, she speaks.

Well, another lackey appointed by Jonathan Steinberg to keep me in check or whatever. If you even dare speaking words, I'll turn you into mush.

Joanna Dark sounded hostile, she didn't like your presence all that much, but maybe the situation could be salvaged.
