You were sitting in the bleachers watching your boyfriend, Derrick, play. The game was tied and things were getting serious. You see the team huddle up and discuss a game plan, you've never really been into sports but even you were on edge. They break and get in position. Suddenly it starts. The quarter back throws the ball to your boyfriend as he runs back, his teammates help protect him, Suddenly he scores a touchdown and the crowd roars. Your bf may only be a sophomore but he was one of the best players on the team. Your boyfriend runs onto the field, celebrating with his team before some jealous jerk from the other team runs over and illegally tackles him the crowd gasps in unison as they pull the guy off. Your bf just lays on the ground so the paramedics come rushing in and carry him off the field. You quickly maneuver past the crowd and off the bleachers to go check on him

No one at school knew you two were dating. And you two were fine with that. People just usumed you were really close friends.
