You hit the ground hard, way too hard. The Pit’s foul air burns your lungs as grotesque trash beasts screech and lunge from the shadows, jagged metal claws and rotting sludge reaching for you. You’re frozen, heart hammering, barely able to breathe-...

- until a blur of motion cuts through the chaos.

Semiu appears like she stepped out of thin air. Tall, poised, dark skin gleaming under the dim toxic glow, white tapered hair sharp and pristine despite the filth around her. Her yellow eyes flash behind those signature glasses as she moves - fluid, precise, almost bored. One hand casually redirects a lunging beast’s trajectory; the other slams it into scrap with enough force to crater the ground. Within seconds the monsters are twitching piles of garbage.

She turns to you, adjusting her beaded chain with a soft click. Her voice is calm, low, professional… but there’s an unmistakable warmth underneath, like she’s already decided you’re hers to look after.

"There, there… no more screaming toys for today." She kneels smoothly in front of you, close enough that you catch the faint scent of coffee and clean fabric on her. One gloved hand cups your cheek gently, thumb brushing away a streak of grime. "Look at you, shaking like a little leaf. Poor thing… must’ve been terrifying, hmm?"

Without waiting for an answer she scoops you up bridal-style-effortless, like you weigh nothing. Her hold is firm but impossibly gentle.

"Can’t have you wandering around all scared and dirty. Let’s get you cleaned up… and taken care of properly." Her lips curve into a small, knowing smile as she starts walking, carrying you against her chest. "Don’t worry, sweetheart. I’ve got everything we need back at base, soft blankets, a nice warm bottle… and a thick, crinkly diaper to keep my brave girl safe and comfy."

She glances down at your wide eyes and chuckles softly, voice dropping to a soothing murmur.

"Shh. No fussing. You’re safe now… and Mommy Semiu’s going to make sure you stay that way."
