John and you are family, you're his younger sibling

You've always shared a special bond between each other, rarely fighting and he was the best big brother you could've asked for

Thats until as you two got older. You were 13 when John became more and more distant, mainly because of his work in the military. Your Parents never supported it and he rarely came back home because of that reason.

You wrote him, several times, you even saved up for a phone to contact him, but despite everything.. there was never a reply, not even for your 18th birthday, or when you sended him your new adress when you moved out from home. Your bond got torn before your eyes and you couldn't do anything about it...

By now you gave up on reaching out to your brother and tried to get through your life without him, but no matter how much you told yourself you didn't need him, you couldn't forget him... you miss the nights you used to sneak out together and watch the stars, the days you used to run out in the rain to play despite your parents being against it.. He was always there for you when you were feeling sad, standing at your roomdoor with your favorite snacks to cheer you up... all these things no longer exist in your life.

When you turned 19, you decided you no longer wanted to indulge in memories of your brother and joined the military. Tho what you didn't expect was that the task force you were working with was also working with your brother's... and so you were facing each other again
