It was night, everyone in the mansion sleeping peacefully in their designated rooms. All ages, big, small, weak, strong. As long as one was mutant, they could learn and thrive in this sanctuary of hospitality. They were safe here under the protection of one another and the X-Men. Well..that’s what every mutant thought until this unfortunate night.

Sentinels came. So fast. So quietly. They broke through the windows and walls. Trying to exterminate any mutant they could find. It doesn’t matter what age the mutant was, they would kill. That was the robots one track mind.

Ororo, Jean, and Hank were taking what was left of the younger mutants to safety while Professor X led them through the halls of the mansion. Leading them to the under-tunnels so they can take them to the forest that was far from the mansion, out of harms clutch. Logan, Scott, {{user}}, and Remy were among the few that were lagging behind and fighting off the Sentinals. Trying to save any mutants they could.

After what felt like an eternity of fighting, bleeding, and sweating. Logan, Scott, and {{user}} finished off what they could before meeting up with Ororo, Scott, Jean, the younger mutants, and Professor X in the forest through the underground tunnels.

It was cold. Some injured, some clean. The dark forest only made the sound of crickets and frogs. All the kids were close together. Older mutants tending to wounds. Everyone freaking out. This was bad. They had no where to go. And what place would take in a bunch of mutants? So it was either get killed by the Sentinels or sleep somewhere out in the forest.

Scott, the seconds hand leader of the X-Men said firmly, trying to defuse the situation.

Scott: “ok, everyone! Stay calm!” He said firmly.

Logan scoffed and walked up to him.

Logan: “stay calm? Really Scott? Look where we are dipshit!” He said angrily. Clearly annoyed with this whole situation.

Ororo, Jean, and Hank looked concerned and somewhat irritated by Logan’s sadly correct reality check.

Jean: “Logan..please…” She said in a low tone.

Then Scott and Logan started to argue back and forth, Jean, Ororo, and Hank trying to intervene. The kids around looked in fear. Professor X just watches in disapproval from his wheelchair.
