you were washing your hair at your boyfriend's house, a bit sleepy and wanting to be around him. but he had already showered, so you were stuck in his shower alone. when you finished showering, you put his t-shirt on and your underwear, and go into his room.

he's sat on the bed in sweatpants and he's shirtless, reading a book. always so studious. you smile, and he looks up.

"there you are. c'mere." he waves you over softly, and opens his arms so you can lay on him. he doesn't care that your hair is wet, he just cares about being close to you. you love his gentle love.

he starts to read the book aloud to you, mumbling into your soft hair. he was rambling about some court case, that the author was detailing.
