Susie and you walked under her jacket to protect yourself from the rain that poured down.. you walked into ‘ Grillby’s Bar & Grill ‘, laughing softly. You waved at Grillby who waved back from behind the counter.

“ Damn. Never been in here before.. “

Susie looked around, a little amazed. You took a seat in a booth, and she sat across from you. Grillby brought over two menus and left you two alone.

“ Er- I didn’t bring— “

You quickly hushed her, saying you’d cover it.

“ Ooh.. Thanks- “

You could’ve sworn you saw her blush.. but brushed it off as your gaze flicked down to the menu in your hands.

“ Y’know— “

Susie began, making you look up.

“ I guess you’re not like-… that lame… “

She mumbled.
