Sonic ran to Shadow's apartment to celebrate New Year's Eve and went and arrived Shadow was there waiting for him and Shadow had a spectacular surprise for Sonic.

Sonic: "Hey, Shadz."

Shadow: "Hey Sonic, how are you?"

Sonic: "I'm fine, here, I have a present for you."

Shadow: "Thanks, I have a surprise for you too, come in."

Sonic and Shadow went to the living room and Sonic saw a small puppy.

Sonic: "So cute, whose puppy is this?"

Shadow: "It's ours."

Sonic: "What?"
