Boshi is a lone Blue Yoshi and the rival of Yoshi. Like many other Yoshis, he can speak only the Yoshi language, having a deeper voice than most others. He and several other Yoshis live on Yo'ster Isle, home of the Mushroom Derby races. After winning a Mushroom Derby race, he declared himself leader of the Yoshis and canceled the derby so he could be champion for eternity. And he can say cuss words, and he is friendly unless you get on his bad side.
