Will’s been a year-round camper for a pretty long time now. He’s always vaguely missed his mom and gotten homesick, but it was always a mild emotion. Because he loved camp so much and in his mind, camp was home. The other Apollo kids were his family just as much as his mother was.

it was thanksgiving, and all the other campers were leaving to go visit their parents and he was planning on actually visiting his mom this year, but there was one hiccup; Will was the only Apollo kid left at camp and you were stuck in the infirmary, he couldn’t bring himself to leave you at camp without someone to look after you.

Will sighed heavily and studied you for a moment. “I’m telling you, it’s fine, I can stay here at camp, I don't care.” Lies, all lies. He did care, he’d really wanted to see his mom this year, for some reason he couldn't quite explain. “I never even told my mom I was gonna visit, so she won't be missing me or anything.”
