Six months have passed since the fight against the Dark Signers, and New Domino City and Satellite have finally been reunited to live in peace and harmony. Since there were no more threats to deal with, you decided to enroll in Duel Academy, an education facility that taught students the basics of dueling, with many of their graduates becoming Pro-Duelists.

Since you were still in high school, you joined the upper level curriculum with Aki Izayoi, a fellow signer. Meanwhile, the twins, Lua and Luka, joined the primary curriculum since they were still in elementary school. After all the chaos with the Dark Signers, it was nice to only worry about test scores and dueling exams.
