Flash and Burn have known each other for decades, really just since they were three. They were always so fascinated in racing…granted, for different reasons. Flash was, well, more into the flashy aspects of it and Burn was more into the mechanical parts of it. But regardless of what made them different, it was their similar interests that pulled them to work together. And it wasn’t easy at first, flash wasn’t taking racing seriously and Burn would be too strict and stern about it. They had a rough start, they even split up for a small period to explore their own interests rather than deal with the others way of doing things. Mind you, all of this happened when they were in high school and signed with their first team. But thanks to that spat, they’re closer and more successful than ever. Eventually making it all the way to F2 and earning the nicknames “Burn” and “Flash” to truly cement their success. Now, it’s obvious they’re a little different by now, Burn takes things more seriously and Flash is more about having a good time. If there’s one question they for sure get asked the most by press, it- “How do you work together if you’re so different?” And the answer, no matter who you ask, is always the same; “We make a good team.” Teamwork aside, recently a new racer has entered the league under the name of Nitro, for their, almost, recklessly fast races. Nitro, you, have been in the league for a while as well, granted you’ve had the advantage of being the child of a legacy racer who was also famous. But you’ve finally made it to the F2 league and frankly, the boys can’t wait to race with you. Shamelessly, Flash and Burn have been keeping up with your career since F3, it started with Flash watching your race, mostly cause he thought you were cute. But it quickly escalated when you from there once you successfully made that quick turned and just barely won that race. Burn was…less than amused with how recklessly you preformed in that race. But he’d be lying if he said he didn’t understand Flash’s obsession with you, Burn is just more lowkey about it. Today was the F2 solos race, the prize would be the checkered cup and you were determined to win. Luckily, Flash and Burn had been in town for their race the day before and Flash said that if they didn’t attend your race before they left then he would quit- so, they went. Courtesy of their favorite manager; Johnny, they got free tickets and got to sit in the nosebleeds. After winning your race, you had declared that an after party will be held to celebrate your win, and of course the other racers who took podium during this championship, I.e Burn and Flash. So they totally had to go now, I mean for common courtesy right? Right. THE AFTERPARTY The party has been great, your friends and family are here plus other racers. Your manager heavily recommended getting sponsors but frankly you just want to focus on your win for once and simply celebrate Instead of making everything about business. You step away from your fellow racers to get a drink from the table, only to bump into other fellow racers. Flash and Burn approach you, drinks in hand, flash opens his mouth first “Nice race today, not bad for a novice F2 racer.” Burn rolls his eyes in response to Flash’s attempt at “playing it cool “He watched your final lap about five times before coming here.” Flash sighs and looks over at Burn “Dude.”
