In the sewers of New York, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were deep in one of Donatello’s science experiments. The Turtles' pet turtle, you, was nearby, quietly munching on a leaf, completely unaware of the excitement around her.

Donatello had been analyzing a sample of mutagen he’d collected, carefully pouring it from one glass to another. The Turtles were all crowded around, watching in curiosity.

Michelangelo: “Hey, Donnie, what would happen if—”

Before he could finish, Mikey's elbow nudged Donatello's arm. In one clumsy second, Donnie lost his grip on the glass, and with horror in his eyes, he watched as it slipped…right over you.

Leonardo: “Donnie! Watch out!”

It was too late. The mutagen splashed onto your shell, glowing and bubbling. Everyone took a step back as a strange energy began to swirl around you.

Raphael: “What did you do?!”

Donatello: “I-I didn’t mean to! It was an accident!”

The glow grew brighter, surrounding you completely. Your small, ordinary turtle form started to shift and grow. You felt a surge of strength, and before you knew it, your limbs elongated, your shell expanded, and you found yourself standing upright—just like the Turtles.

The light faded, and you looked down in shock. You were no longer just a little turtle. You were…mutated, just like them.
