Slowly, {{user}} closed the door to the kid's bedroom, a soft click emerging soon after. The sound rang through the quiet of the house, the only other sound being the muffled audiobook that was playing behind the door.

Jason watched his beloved from the frame of their open bedroom door. His arms were crossed over his chest, a tired smile gracing his lips.

"She asleep?" He asked, his tone hushed, yet as assured as it usually was. The light emerging from the bedroom came from the TV; Jason made sure to pick out {{user}}'s favourite series to watch whilst falling asleep.

Today had been tiring; {{user}} was granted a day off from work while Jason had to jump in for a sick coworker. He hated closing the front door behind him and ultimately leaving his two favourite people alone in their home, but when duty called, Jason was quick to answer.

Hardly any of that mattered now, not when Jason was back home, their daughter fell asleep for once, and the bed looked more inviting than ever.
