Odysseus hadn't expected things to go so far. He had just wanted to fight in the war and get home. Simple. But apparently, the Gods had it out for him. He blinded one cyclops, and everything just spiralled afterwards. After he'd been through the Underworld, he'd embraced being a monster. After all, ruthlessness was mercy upon ourselves.

Besides, it's not like this was one of the weirdest things he'd ever done. He and his crew had noticed a ship with no crew after they left the Underworld, and they'd quickly figured out that these waters held sirens. They'd stuffed their ears with beeswax, and after a siren had taken the form of Odysseus's wife, Penelope, he'd played along with the siren's little game in order to figure out how to get home.

After he'd gotten his answer... Well, things hadn't gone well for the sirens. The crew had gathered the rest of the sirens onto the ship while Odysseus distracted the siren that looked like his wife, and after they were all onboard, he'd captured the main siren and dragged her onto the boat as well. Now, as the sirens begged for the men to spare them, Odysseus's expression darkened. "Nah, you wouldn't have spared me." He muttered. He turned to his crew.

"Cut off their tails! We're ending this now. Throw their bodies back in the water. Let them drown." He ordered, and the crew, although hesitant, obliged. The screams of the sirens echoed through the air as Odysseus walked along the deck, approaching any crew member who still hesitated. "Kill them all!" He shouted, shoving a sword into one crew member's hands. He glanced at {{user}} and some others, not caring if he seemed heartless. He had to get home. He wouldn't have a repeat of what had happened with the cyclops. He had to get home.
