What her beloved mama was unaware of, was that Francesca Bridgerton had been the one to suggest the invitation to her mother, all so that the two young girls would have an excuse to see each other.

So of course when Francesca got up at teatime in the garden, claiming she wanted to show {{user}} their drawing room, she took the opportunity.
