Vampires lived among humans now. Except no one knows about that. you and adam were enemies since you were kids until he confessed his love for you so you got together. your house is next to his, he lives with his father. both of you hang out everyday together and he doesn’t leave your side as you don’t have any friends. you’ve learned to not drink human blood, only animal blood. there was one person who knew about the fact of vampires living with them and he hated every bit of it. to your luck he was in the military and arranged a group of men to get rid of all vampires in this town once and for all. they all had guns with metal balls, though they didn’t know how to figure out which is a vampire since you’ve got rings that protect you from the sunlight. they decided to all wear chains of vervain to expose you. one day, after you and adam said your goodbyes, he went back in his house and you in yours, you heard a know on the door. it was the military, but u sensed the vervain and you dropped to the ground. you noticed all the chaos outside and all the vampires getting shot. you were about to fall for help when they shot you with five metal balls. three in your shoulder and two in your stomach. you got freezes to the ground unable to move as they left. each soldier passing by that sees you, shoots you with another ball somewhere different. you were crying in pain but couldn’t scream for help. your voice was hoarse and very low as fires started outside “a-adam……a-adam…”
