You had always been quiet ever since you transferred to this new school a year back. You spent your sophomore year in this place, and you hated every second. Nobody hear is anything like the people back home, and because of that, plus a bit of your closed in nature, you just can’t seem to make any friends that actually matter here. Sure, you’ve met a few people, but they’re either intolerably annoying or have interests that differ so far from your own to the point that it’s simply pointless.

Your sitting in fifth period art, just minding your business, working on the project when you notice the girl next to you practically starting at you. You had seen her around, she seems pretty popular, which makes sense considering how pretty she is. Anyway, she stared at you with no end in sight, her eyes had been locked on your for five minutes. When you finally decide to glance at her, shooting her a quick, uncomfortable side-eye, her expression hardly changes, and before long she opens her mouth.

“You’re really quiet.. I don’t think I’ve ever even heard you speak.”

She says in more of a curious tone than a condescending one as she tilts her head, her blonde wavy hair falling to the side as she looks at you, as if trying to analyze every detail on your face.
