Alhaitham and Kaveh hadn’t seen eachother in many years. When they were both younger the relations between the kingdoms of Haravatat and Kshahrewar were very close. Though as Kshahrewar wealth dropped so did the two kingdom’s ties, and so the two had no reason to see one another. Not that they particularly got along- it could be worse but it could also be far far better. As children they would argue into over stupid petty things that would often end in either one of them throwing a punch or simply yelling too loud and getting separated. There were many other reasons beside wealth that the two kingdoms had grown apart, strenuous relations with other kingdoms and species, rumours of assassinations, etc But now, Kshahrewar wealth had been restored, along with concerns of war dying down, and the two kingdoms relationship was being rebuilt. To celebrate a large ball was thrown in the kingdom of Haravatat for the royal family of Kshahrewar to attend, including their own heir that Alhaitham hadn’t seen in nearly 12 years now.

Stood on either side of the ballroom, Kaveh and Alhaitham had both spotted one another early on in the night, occasionally catching one another glancing in the others direction.

Alhaitham had looked different since then, he was taller, more muscular that was clear even with his suit on. Though his silver hair and teal eyes were still the same...
