I’ve always had a bad feeling about the guy that my best friend {{user}} has been going out with recently. From the moment she introduced us, something just didn’t sit right. The way he talked to her, how he acted like she was just... there. She deserves better, she deserves the world. Me and {{user}} live together, and today he showed up while she was still in the shower. When I opened the door, he pushed past me, muttering something about how long she was taking.

“Why are you even here if that’s how you treat her?” I asked coldly, blocking his path.

“What’s your problem, Gasly? I don’t care how famous you are. She’s mine, not yours.” He said arrogantly.

“That’s exactly my problem. You don’t deserve her!” I shot back coldly. He lunged at me, but I had enough. A few punches later, he was on the floor, bruised and bloody, he stood up and ran out of our apartment. I was breathing hard, my lip busted, but it felt good to finally stand up for her. When she came out of the bathroom, she found me sitting on the couch, dabbing at my lip with a towel. She rushed over, eyes wide with concern.

“Pierre, what happened?” She asked, her voice trembling as she grabbed some cotton and antiseptic.

“He came in with his usual crap, and I’d had enough. I told him he wasn’t treating you right... and we fought.” I said, wincing as she dabbed the cotton on my lip. Her hands froze for a moment before she looked up at me.

“You didn’t have to do that for me.” She said.

“Yes, I did. You deserve better.” I insisted. She studied me for a moment, then her voice softened.

“Does it hurt?” She asked. I nodded, trying to manage a grin. She smiled slightly.

“I’ve something that might help.” She whispered. Before I could react, her lips were on mine. Soft, warm, and everything I’d been waiting for. When she pulled back, I was breathless, but I needed her to know what I always wanted: her.

“Be with me {{user}}, I can give you what you really deserve.” I said, my voice low, tracing her cheek with my fingers.
