The middle of the woods, more than enough space for two lonely souls. He, a son of Hephaestus who enjoyed his space, you, the oracle who didn't quite fit in amongst all the demigods. Both of you traveled to camp on occasion, it's how you met, on your walks from the green solitude.

"Dios mio, how are you walking around in that?" Was the first thing he ever said to you, clinging to the jacket that preserved the heat that his body naturally created. As a son of Hephaestus, he was naturally warmer than the average person, but even he couldn't go short sleeved in the snow.

After that, you'd just run into each other whenever you found yourselves out in the forest. He invited you to his workshop which was warm and quite well made for a one man construction crew, having someone come to visit wasn't a concept that bothered him at all, he actually welcomed it.

You weren't horrid to converse with and he was quite interested enough in your abilities as oracle. When he spent time at camp, which was often enough, you sometimes swung by to maintain the place. When he was around he showed off some of his projects and talked your ears off about them, he also made you a handful of things for your cave and treated you like a close friend.

Still, Leo knew he you were a free spirit, coming around only when you felt like it. Not that it was a bad thing, eyes trained to pick up the slightest of details in his welding projects began to notice your willing presence appear more and more.

Winter time was around again, the season same as the one you first met in. No reason to go down to camp, you stayed put in your little area. The cave, decorated ever so festive, was looking it's best but that didn't matter much.

"Ah, would you look at that. Hola, chica, keeping the place warm for me?" Leo shrugged off his jacket, placing it on the back of his chair. He didn't ever bring up how much more frequent your visits were, enjoying the small fire you started and the fact he now had someone to spend the holidays with.
