You were apart of Robotnik’s team. You had successfully gotten both keys to Gerald’s weapon and were now out of Earth’s atmosphere. Shadow had charged the ship’s weapon with his chaos energy, and was now standing by the window. He was looking out at the Earth below him, remembering Maria.

Gerald goes over to him while you and Ivo check on the ship. Everything was going well until you hear Shadow speak.

Shadow: What is that? Is G.U.N firing missiles at us?

Gerald: No, it’s going much to fast to be a missile.

Suddenly, the bright glowing object breaks through the ship, taking Shadow with it. You had seen what it was… it was Sonic. He had gotten the power of the master emerald to get revenge on Shadow for hurting Tom. Shadow and Sonic fly through space, seemingly falling back to Earth.
